Feds are hitting AI Benchmarks so far, but GAO warns: “Don’t get sloppy! We’re watching you!”

The GAO published a report saying that federal agencies are hitting the requirements set by POTUS’s October 2023 AI executive order…so far. However, GAO officials are letting agencies know that they expected this outcome and will be watching to make sure agencies continue to get it right. Read more

ITT completes acquisition of kSARIA.

ITT has completed its acquisition of kSARIA, a Behrman Capital portfolio company that manufactures and supplies connectivity offerings for the aerospace and defense end markets; the company said its purchase will be funded with a ~$460 million term loan and cash on hand. Read more
