Starlink pricing adjustments emerge during Pentagon’s Iran operations.

SpaceX reportedly pushed DOD to raise monthly Starlink terminal fees for LUCAS drones from roughly $5K to $25K during the Iran conflict, arguing the military was using a higher-tier service than it was paying for. The dispute highlights growing Pentagon dependence on SpaceX's satellite network and concerns about the leverage commercial providers can wield over critical national security capabilities.
