Pentagon is poised to forge commercial space ties beyond usual contractor relationships.
The Space Force is preparing to forge deeper ties with the space industry in a “first-of-its-kind” program; it will begin awarding contracts this year for what will be called the Commercial Augmentation Space Reserve (CASR) program. NASA greenlights bids for $444M facility support recompete.
NASA recently submitted its final RFP for a potential eight-year, $444 million contract to provide broad facility support services at a pair of locations in the Gulf Coast.
