
The Department of Defense has awarded Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) a $1.4 billion Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) contract to help accelerate the transition of warfighting technologies from initial concept to operational deployment.
COBRA aims to provide military commands with the flexibility to modernize systems within the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) framework. According to the DoD, CJADC2 focuses on developing both material and non-material solutions to give commanders an edge in information and decision-making.
