How defense companies built a wheeled C-UAS robot at Army’s Operation Jailbreak.

During the Army's Operation Jailbreak event, defense companies rapidly integrated existing technologies to create an autonomous counter-drone robot capable of detecting, tracking, and defeating hostile UAS threats. DNI discloses global biolab funding and expands intelligence oversight.

ODNI released declassified findings showing U.S. funding for more than 120 biolabs across 30 countries, raising concerns about oversight and security. The agency is now directing expanded intelligence collection and coordination to better track facilities and associated risks.

VA’s AI chatbots were not designated high-impact, despite clinical use.

A VA IG report found that VA did not classify certain AI-powered chatbots as "high-impact" systems despite their use in clinical settings, potentially bypassing heightened oversight and risk management requirements. Auditors recommended the department strengthen its AI governance processes to ensure systems affecting healthcare decisions receive appropriate review and safeguards.
