
The Department of Defenseβs Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) has awarded OpenAI a potential $200 million other transaction agreement to make prototype frontier AI capabilities for national security applications.
The company stated that its agreement with the CDAO will allow it to assist the Department of Defense in exploring how frontier AI can be applied to acquisition and program data analysis, support proactive cyber defense, enhance healthcare delivery for service members and their families, and change administrative functions.
