Woodward provides insight into mastering multi-domain operations and the challenges of transforming in contact: “An example of transforming in contact is our work on the command and control networks and battle command systems that we have realized are not survivable on the modern battlefield. They’re too big, they put out too much of a signature, they’re hard to move around. How do we make them smaller, more agile, less seen in the electromagnetic spectrum? The USPS is pursuing its largest rate increase since the current postmaster general's appointment, and lawmakers want the agency's regulator to stand up to its latest proposed price hike by blocking it; they believe another price hike would threaten USPS's long-term future. Read more

Agencies accelerate efforts to ‘clean up’ insecure internet routing.

WH National Cyber Director Coker expects that more than half of all advertised federal IP space will adopt more secure routing agreements by the end of this year. The goal is to get to Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI), which provides security for internet routing to help prevent traffic from being hijacked by hackers. Read more
