Army advances electronic warfare with new forces and capabilities.
The Army is taking a major step in modernizing its electronic warfare operations, integrating new forces, training guides, and advanced capabilities. With a focus on electromagnetic spectrum dominance, the service aims to enhance battlefield awareness and response.
Space Force is testing space-based sensors to track airborne targets.
The USSF is teaming up with the USAF and NORTHCOM to test whether satellites can track airborne targets, potentially complementing or even replacing current aircraft-based systems like the Air Moving Target Indicator (AMTI). If successful, this could lead to satellites providing real-time tracking data to military units across land, sea, and air.
The Army could scale back HADES spy plane fleet to six aircraft.
The Army could potentially cut its planned fleet of High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) spy planes in half, reducing the buy from 12 to six. Officials say the move aligns with budget constraints and evolving threat assessments, but the program remains committed to deep-sensing capabilities.

The USDOT has greenlit 76 new infrastructure grants, totaling $607 million, to tackle long-overdue projects. From rail safety to wildlife crossings, the funding aims to clear a backlog of 3,200 stalled initiatives. With 405 grants approved so far, USDOT is pushing to accelerate project delivery.
White house audits energy grants.
The White House is reviewing $15 billion in energy grants awarded under the previous administration, citing concerns over rushed spending and project viability. The DOE warns that some grants may be modified or terminated if they don’t meet new standards. Expect political fireworks as the audit unfolds.
HHS “aggressively” leveraging AI to offset budget cut impacts.
HHS Secretary is pushing the department to use AI aggressively to counter the impact of big budget cuts. The goal is to reduce administrative costs and focus more resources on direct health services.
