NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts program has chosen six projects for additional funding and development. One of them is a pulsed plasma rocket. It is currently being developed by Howe Industries, and it aims to achieve high velocities in a shorter time frame by utilizing nuclear fission to generate plasma packets for thrust. Read more
