DISA is planning to roll out $9B “JWCC Next” contract in 18 months.
DISA is planning to roll out a follow-on vehicle to the current $9 billion JWCC contract in about 18 months, with the follow-on dubbed “JWCC Next.” JWCC provides DOD with easy access to Google, Oracle, AWS, and Microsoft. However, JWCC Next is looking to provide access to about 180 additional cloud providers that meet the government’s FedRAMP criteria. Read more

The halt in intelligence sharing follows POTUS’s decision to pause military aid to Ukraine. Intelligence from the U.S. and NATO has provided real-time information on Russian troop movements, missile launches, and battlefield tactics. The VA is planning to increase deployments of its new Oracle Cerner EHR system to 13 VA medical facilities in 2026, with the ultimate goal of completing the troubled modernization project as early as 2031. VA has deployed the software at just six of its 170 medical centers. Read more
