
The U.S. Geological Survey has given KBR a $350 million deal to provide technical support services for its Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center.
The agreement includes satellite operations for current Landsat missions and development as well as operating related ground systems at the EROS Center.
The support services encompass systems engineering, software development, operational and maintenance activities, satellite data collection, data archiving and distribution, project management, communication and outreach efforts, as well as scientific applications of satellite remote sensing data.
