USAF ready to deploy more nukes once arms control treaty ends.

The USAF confirmed it's ready to load additional nuclear warheads onto bombers and ICBMs as soon as the New START treaty expires in February 2026. Air Force officials emphasized that while they’re technically prepped, any decision to deploy more nukes will ultimately come from civilian leadership based on national security needs.

DOD to industry: “Stop complaining about CMMC!”

A top DOD official is urging defense contractors to stop griping about the CMMC, saying their complaints only draw attention to potential non-compliance. She reminded the industry that they’ve been required to follow NIST cybersecurity standards since 2014, and emphasized that national security is at stake.

Senate defense bill boosts funding for Golden Dome, Space Force.

The SASC has unveiled a $150 billion defense reconciliation bill, prioritizing missile defense and military space programs. The bill allocates $25 billion for the Golden Dome missile shield and $5.1 billion for classified Space Force projects.
