The system has reduced IT delivery times by nearly 30 percent by streamlining workflows and improving how tickets are routed and handled.
GSA says OneGov is saving hundreds of million of dollars.
GSA officials say the government’s OneGov initiative is saving hundreds of millions of dollars by consolidating agency purchasing power for technology and other common services. By negotiating enterprise-wide agreements with vendors, the program aims to reduce duplication across agencies and secure better pricing.
SBA-IRS data-sharing process for disaster loans needs better tech.
A GAO report found that the SBA lacks sufficient data-sharing with the IRS when administering disaster loans, increasing the risk of fraud and improper payments.
