Focus-Nava JV, a Nava PBC and Focus Consulting joint venture, has been awarded an 18-month, $4.3 million contract by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA). Under this deal, the JV will collaborate with the Department to enhance FAFSA® initiatives that operate across a range of technology platforms.
Each year, nearly 17 million students apply for federal student aid through FAFSA®, while 42 million borrowers manage repayment through federal loan accounts. This effort supports FSA in minimizing system errors and improper payments—helping ensure that financial aid reaches the students who need it most.
