TSA takes the first steps toward its new 'data mesh'.

The TSA is working to create its new data management strategy, with plans to establish a “center of excellence” to manage agency cloud computing environments. With more than 60,000 employees working in airports and other locations across the country, TSA is at a “critical place” regarding technology, according to the agency's deputy CIO. Read more

Lawmakers already want to ban TSA's facial recognition tech.
