USA launched Test Range Army, a new portal designed to cut industry wait times for live testing of defense technologies from 12–18 months to a 30-day access standard. Companies—including startups wit no federal contracts—can request access to military ranges for testing drones, counter-UAS systems, long-range fires and more, with a dedicated concierge for helpful assistance.

Accenture Federal Services holds a five-year, $821M task order to serve as core integrator for the War Data Platform, the rebranded Advana system. The award is drawing scrutiny from former DOD officials and experts who question whether the traditional consulting model will fix Advana’s past shortcomings, while the Pentagon says the contract is outcome-focused and will transition toward fixed-price work as requirements mature.

The meeting included discussions on permitting reform, federal investment mechanisms, and expanding production of rare earth materials. The administration is using both executive action and direct industry engagement to reduce dependence on Chinese-controlled supply chains.

USPS is exploring AI to streamline hiring and operations, including resume screening, interview scheduling, route optimization, fraud detection and future autonomous postal robotics, as the agency looks for savings amid ongoing financial strain. Precise Systems acquired Ternion Corp, a provider of engineering, logistics, and technical services supporting naval aviation and defense programs. The deal expands Precise Systems' existing Navy and Marine Corps portfolio and adds Ternion's workforce and program base across several key installations. Terms were not disclosed.
