IARPA has a new program to take aim at the psychology of cyber attackers.

IARPA launched its innovative Reimagining Security with Cyberpsychology-Informed Network Defenses (ReSCIND) program that, for the first time, takes aim at the psychology of cyber attackers. The goal of ReSCIND is to leverage attackers’ human limitations, such as innate decision-making biases and cognitive vulnerabilities, to disrupt their attacks. Read more

The DHS is "leveraging its significant technology assets and dedicated personnel" to things calm as the 49ers take on the Chiefs during Super Bowl LVIII, according to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who noted that "To be clear: there are no known, credible, specific threats to the Super Bowl or Las Vegas at this time — but we are vigilant, and we are prepared." USPS suffers $2B loss this fiscal quarter, but Postmaster General says agency's best days still 'in the future'.
