GAO found most programs delayed full capability delivery, though the majority are meeting updated targets. Senator pushes cyber plan overhaul for critical infrastructure.
Lawmakers are moving to modernize long-stale cybersecurity plans. One senator’s proposal would require CISA to update plans across all 16 critical infrastructure sectors within a year and reassess them biennially, addressing gaps as some plans have gone more than a decade without revision amid rising AI-driven threats.
