M&A CORNER

Amentum sells Rapid Solutions unit for $360 million.

Amentum is streamlining its focus by selling its Rapid Solutions product business to Lockheed Martin for $360 million. The deal, expected to close in late 2025, will shift 230 employees to Lockheed and generate $325 million in after-tax proceeds. Amentum aims to sharpen its mission-critical services while accelerating debt reduction.

Boeing sells portion of Digital Aviation assets to Thoma Bravo.

Boeing is trimming its portfolio, selling parts of its Digital Aviation Solutions business—including Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData, and OzRunways—to Thoma Bravo for $10.55 billion. The aerospace giant will retain core digital capabilities for fleet maintenance and diagnostics.
