IonQ was awarded a $5.7 million contract to design a first-of-its-kind Networked Quantum Computing System for the Department of Defense, through a solicitation with the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS).
The awards for the subsequent phases have not yet been given, but they will cover the construction, delivery, and maintenance of these systems.
