SES Space & Defense, SES' subsidiary, was awarded a $46.8 million United States Air Force Air Combat Command Managed Satellite Services deal.
The company will provide Geostationary Ku-band satellite services to aid the ACC’s remotely piloted aircraft training and testing program, including ground-to-air and air-to-ground transmissions coverage over the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and the Pacific Ocean for airborne operations.
SES’s Global Network Operations Center will deliver network monitoring and management support.
